@ohkimch I'd hesitate to trust him as well. He's the one who's been telling her to be more cautious, more ruthless and this and that. Classic "I told you to trust no one, that included me" flag. But at the same time I feel like this is enough chapters in that if the point was him betraying her somehow, it would've happened already. Such as, he turns on her after winning her trust, then she would've ended up off with the white haired guy or something. That could still happen I guess, but it feels really late in the game for it now.

@kilisloe might be a late reply but "we and us" basically means "I and me". Royalties in Ancient China used plural terms to refer themselves.
