I don't think I need to say this, but this battle (and prisoner escape) never happened. Sun Jian's crew did fight with Xu Rong, though, who actually defeated Sun Jian and forced him to retreat, but Jian's only fight against Hua Xiong also included Lu Bu and Hu Zhen (who aren't here, clearly). In that battle, Hua Xiong died. So... yeah. This is a fictional encounter, folks!
