I think this would probably more accurate as “josei” rather than shoujo.

But then again, a lot of series seems to be labelled as shoujos on this site even though they prob aren’t. Just look at the amount of villainess ones whose target audience is more “young women over their 20’s” rather than “young teenage girls”.

Oof the pacing of the story is bad. The art style is decent, but the characters don't have much interest either. Our mc doesn't talk or do much and the other character seems mostly for exposition. Was a good premise, wish the actual story held up.
Also, why wouldn't this be a Shoujo? Just a bit confused.
