In the book, it is revealed that the f.l is not the Daughter of the emperor, and the f.l and m.l don't have the same consort mother so it's not incest, I'm guessing they put the incest tag because everyone thought they were blood related

You know I started out really mad that the person who killed her was her main love interest but honestly this chick seems like she wasn’t really affected by him at all despite him killing her so I’m assuming it wasn’t a big deal (as in he wasn’t that close to her).

Also I actually really like the fl. And even though the incest is pretty clear I think they’re not actually related? Didn’t she say something about having different parentS, like plural? And I think there was something about that in the beginning too, either way I’d still read it
