The Reincarnated Inferior Magic Swordsman - Vol. 2 Ch. 21 - Lily’s Magic Bookstore

In the novel his magic wasn't this powerful, Lily just told him that the device to detect magic power was broken and told him he was free to buy any of the magic books in the store, so he bought some beginner spells and when he fired off fireball the first time the girl that has been following him around noted that not only was the fireball bigger than it should have been, but that it also traveled further than it should have (if I remember correctly his fireballs actually travel until they hit something). Also he was smart enough to test his magic outside of town.

Alright lily is the saving grace of this manga, as a kuudere lover, a single kuudere could save a series from being dropped by me (for example guilty crown, felt like I'm gonna dropped it but stayed through the end because of Inori (the ending makes me hates it even more tho))

Adios?
Are you guys dropping? If so it was a good run :(

See you later space cowboy

Are going out to get some cigs? Alright, can you grab me something, too, while you're out?

Normally these “excessively-hyper-powerful magic” tropes make me groan.

But this was hilarious.

Hilarious enough to make up for the cringe.

Thank you, kuudere/straight-man-in-denial. You cinched this.

Wha wha wha? He has the seven elements? Impossible, there’s only 4 people in history who has that and 2 of them are dead! Wha? He has the legendary physique that can make monsters bow to him? Whaaaaa? He defeated the SSSSSSSSSSRRRRRRRRR rank grass goblin with one hit? This is...

A few chapters later.

Ah he split the sky in half, if it’s him then I’m not surprised anymore. Literally every isekai with an op character. Where did isekai go wrong? smh

pretty different from the novel. but at least esther is less annoying in the manga
