The Reincarnated "Sword Saint" Wants to Take It Easy - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - 《Sword Saint》's Bodyguard

That bitch is a fucking sour loser alright, worst girl even if you put her against a fucking old hag.

So much whining in the comments. Why the hell did you click on the manga if the summary tells you exactly what this is about? Swords, reincarnation, boy meets girl. What else did you expect?

So far, for the introductory chapter, we've gotten a few interesting characters to work with, personalities within expectations, and fairly good art. Manga will be carried by how interesting the MC will be, and so far he's solid. Intrigued.

@JaffaOrange People don't like here because she blatantly looks down on everyone. Also, your argument about not accepting child prodigies doesn't really work that well since there's already a child prodigy in the classroom. They've already accepted a child prodigy.

So much anger and whining, and not a mention of the MC belonging to the "Sirius Black Knight Order?"
I mean, it's even a black dog...

@Eksentrysyti People whine because they want something different. Not something with the same shitty cliches and the same one-dimensional characters. The premise of reincarnation may be overused, but it's a good premise that you can do a lot with, but if authors are regurgitating the same crap readers have seen many times, they have the right to critique because the author is lazy.

@daxrocket Not really though? I never got the impression that she looks down on people. She's confident that she's better than most of the class (and teachers) but she quickly acknowledges MC's skills. She's just shocked that someone from seemingly nowhere outclassed her. I'll concede the point that they shouldn't be TOO surprised by a young prodigy since I noticed after rereading that FMC was winning competitions against adults at the age of 10.

@JaffaOrange She does look down on people. When the MC comes into the classroom and explains that he's the new instructor, she immediately assumes that there's no way the MC is worthy and accuses him and the school of playing around. After that, she calls his skills disappointing without even considering that he might be holding back and when she loses, she reasons that it was only because she wasn't serious. What else do you call that besides looking down on other people?

Looks like someone changed most of the Saint Swords into Sword Saints. Except for the one in the 2-page spread in the beginning.

This girl is confined by the title people imposed on her.
She should know that above the sky there is still outer space.

Those are some nice outlines, great background for an action sequence
The art feels similar to the Overlord manga or even the Shield Hero manga, the lines (Sentences, boxes, or whatever you wanna call'em) are also nicely placed
This series feels very promising, hope it won't let us down anytime soon

And thx for the scanlation team behind it, kudos to you guys/gals

The girl is a living proof that you can become a national champion at the age of 10 and yet everyone there, her included, is so surprised and this 12 years old beings just as good. Stupid.
