What the fuck is wrong with this story? These people that the MC is meeting (Katana Dude he just killed and the main heroine) the amount of effot these guys are putting into getting stronger seems asounding, but they're getting 1 tapped by a kid whos half their age, sure he was practically raised on the battlefield. But hes just flexing his pure talent against these guys who've dedicated their entire lives into getting stronger, and he isnt even acknowledging them as foes.

Thats like studying your ass off to get into your dream university. And one day, a transfer student who is like 9, walks in, aces all the exams, and then just goes on throughout his day without sweating a single drop. Thats gotta be fucking destruction on your morale.

I'm a sucker for romanticize violence and battle to the death troupe. Despite it's so goddamn cliches I just can't help being excited seeing that fight. Yeah he had to die for the plot but from his expression and what he said after his death just showed an entire story in and of itself. A very notable ronin in a peace time only search for death in the battle torn east country. He resorted to underhanded means and work as an assassin in the underworld until he met mc, finally granted death to a worthy opponent hence his satisfied expression throughout the fight.

That was a satisfying match to see drawn out. I got so used and bored of the usual 1 panel fights of OP MCs that I really was refreshed watching him not plow the land with him in 1 hit.
