@zz2000 Please do keep in mind the title of this manga includes "Yandere Love Interest" the author is well aware that clingy love interests are a bit mentally deranged, that's the whole point of yandere, they are love/psychos. Not really sure about target readers, but there is a certain population of women who stay with abusive men cause they think that the men they are with are some how good at heart or redeemable and if they love them enough they can "fix" them. It's totally a real thing and totally insane twisted logic. I also know that many people like a story of redemption. Bad boy makes good. For example, those cliche about a delinquent helping a puppy in the rain or the like. It's okay in fiction I guess, depends on your taste. *shrugs*
