@Udgard The manga uses Hocchi and Bocchi. The former is their actual species name. The latter is a nickname used for stray/feral individuals. I’ve just been translating it as they say it. Putin calls his Bocchi because it was originally a feral.

I love it when manga can balance comedy with dramatic elements, and this is easily a winner. This mangaka struck gold with this premise after spending years coasting with that bloody karate one (though admittedly, I read that for years too)
