if you are fighting a war, knowingly and willingly destroying a major asset is tantamount to treason. They abused and and discarded in a way that destroyed his future someone who is one the same cscale of more valuable then the hero himself, because he was afraid that the MC would take the spotlight.

He deserves forces unpaid service since his actions basically ended up in the "enemy" getting hold of a major asset.

Why the kingdom did not have an overseer assigned to the party is beyond me, especially if they are a group not selected for personality or reputation.

Still not sure why our MC is okay with working for the demons side. I mean yeah money but having to support the killing of humans seems like a bit of a big compromise!

His sexy feline senpai may be interested in humans but it still seems like a big leap!

That said, I eagerly await the next few chapters where we get to watch the hero party get wrecked. And here's hoping the new red shirt girl party member is either recruited or allowed to leave.

The combination of 'Necromancer' and 'Soul Core' seems like a system ripe for some kind of exploitation. Dungeon cores eat souls to make mana, but is that a "permanent destruction of the soul" deal or an "xp loss on resurrecting at the church" deal. If it's the later, could the MC could capture souls and feed them to his core repeatedly? If it's the former, could he partially drain a soul with the core for his sustainable hero farming?
