The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent - Vol. 4 Ch. 15.4 - Tea Party Part 4

@icekatze i will admit that my view is biased due to the fact that the ln is quite a bit further translated, so my view of the characters in the manga is influenced by that. I will agree that the way liz brings up aira in this chapters conversation is not the best, thanks for discussing with the argumentative asshole that i am.

@JoshuaFord
I'm honestly glad to hear that things will
turn out differently in future chapters, and presumably be resolved in a good way.
And perhaps there's some nuance that got inevitably lost in translation? (The translation seems good from this end, so I can't really say.)

I'm just glad nobody's taking it personally or getting upset. Even if it was an intense topic, nobody was name calling or anything, so I figure you're good.

@JoshuaFord
I'm sorry, but I can't read your entire response, since I want to avoid spoilers.
We mostly agree anyway, so I'll just add.
If the girls' situations were reversed:
- Sei would never allow the prince to prevent others from giving her advice.
- Sei would carefully consider what the other girls said and would pull out more info from them, not just ignore them and run away.

Aira is in the position of "teenager suddenly in a foreign land, far from her family, friends, and whatever support she was familiar with, with people expecting a lot out of her." She's latched on to the friendly faces around her who are offering their help and support, who happen to predominantly be engaged males—which is maybe slightly peculiar, but it isn't unusual for a girl from her culture to have male friends. Certainly some level of propriety is expected in a platonic relationship, but the thresholds she's used to are not necessarily the same as what is expected in this new world.

Is she making optimal decisions, even taking into account the limitations of her knowledge? Not really, no. She's just a child, though. Certainly, that doesn't stop her from being especially competent or talented in certain areas, such as navigating the politics of a pseudo medieval French magical society, but she can't really be blamed for not excelling at such either. Not every kid is a plucky young heroine just waiting for an adventure to drop into their laps so they can show off their cunning, know-how, chutzpah, and determination.

I love you guys for translating this manga for us, and I don't mean to offend you, but can you please release a whole single chapter instead of dividing it into 3 or 4 parts because its hard to keep up and the excitement of reading something amazing just vanishes plus its harder to keep up with the story/plot. I hope I didn't offend you but if I did I am sorry

Still waiting for the day manga finally show us the confrontation in all its glory (Already read the wn/ln )
Doesn't help that it takes ages before new chapter is released. comic walker is currently at 20.1

Yo, Sei, baby I’ll leave the handlin of “That Thing” in ur capable hands cuz like legit, for a Crown Prince to be actin like that should be blasphemy! Fr tho, his Dad who is the King of that frickin Kingdom, on his behalf, apologized for his stupid*ss and so did his not-so-appreciated Fiancée! Like he legit gettin on my nerves so I’m leave the reignin in to MC, hoping to god that she beat the selfish arrogant egotistical know-it-all smart*ss side outta his *ss for good!

the crown prince should totally not be the crown prince. they really should fix that fdaljsdlfkjsdf

thank you for the updates!!

@themanj Lots of countries are more easy-going in some matters, less easy-going in others. Americans certainly aren't easy-going in politics. From an outsider's pov, it seems like the USA is preparing for a second civil war with Republicans vs Democrats (or conservatives vs libertarians). What comes to the case in this story, Japan has quite short skirts in official school uniforms, so Sei is not wrong.

@Kaarme
you know what... you got me there... but.. i don't wanna be that guy but like... nope I'm not going political not here
anyway... yeah u rite

best solution is to replace them boys with girls. The girls just need to befriend Aira genuinely and teach her their ways.

Liz is annoying. Control your straying fiancé first.

@roxanneayy Aira is being purposefully isolated which is why I don't really see how any of this is her fault. Plus unlike Sei, this person controlling her movements has the highest authority in the land.

If the character was brazilian, she would be called a slut, because the first thing we do is greet people with kisses and hugs haha.
