So where they after him because they wanted his martial arts secrets? Is there a good/bad side of martial arts in this story pretending that the world is black and white?

Just re-reading this and i was thinking how old is kyung-ho? later when the MC grows up to be like 20(?) sth kyung-ho seems younger than he is now...
