The Scholar's Reincarnation - Vol. 3 Ch. 108

So, whats the point of making MC so OP that every opponent is a breeze? Do people not get tired of MC teasing the opponents? There was not a single bit of suspense of this entire chapter at all because we all know they cant lay a finger on him. How long will this go on? I just want some opponents that doesn't get mocked by MC and get wiped in a single move.

@Pen3 I believe the point is to show the MC learning that there is strength in different things, like him breaking past his previous wall after learning literature.
It's just too bad for the antagonists that he was already the strongest in his previous life and has now only gotten stronger.

@dummyaccount12345 Korean Martial Jesus.

@Pen3 Considering he knows the names of the next steps in cultivation, it means those steps were already taken by people in the past and thus were named. Who knows what those people are doing now and if they are friendly or not? Furthermore, the MC was already defeated once in his past life, by nothing but a single self-sacrificing monk, so he's not invincible. It's just that the people able to threaten him are few and far between, and mostly wouldn't even yet pay attention to him.

Interesting how powerful he is. He already beat that old man in the family now he has beaten this person and his team easily.

PAF'd like an Asterix punch. if he was wearing caligae that would be floating on the water now
