I know he has no obligation to help her but he knew her condition from the start, was more than capable of helping her before it was too late but couldn't care less

And I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have refused as she was conflicted about asking him as shown in a recent chapter
Maybe it was her pride or her not wanting to be a burden to anyone but man leaving her to rot away on her own like that....

this novel was probably written in the moonlight sculptor era where every mc is a greedy selfish asshole who was still proud even when everything they ever own was just given to them by some random or a very generous as fuck GM.
I really hate these types of Characterization in both novel and in real life

He knew she was busted and needed help yet did nothing? I thought he was portrayed as a bit more considerate (despite what he said) given his actions on the trials before the neutral zone. Had he helped sooner the investment would be 1k and done while the Golden Commandment would still apply. . .

It's not that the mc didn't want to help before, it's the girl that didn't want any sort of help for her believing that she can pull through by herself.

I feel like the novel did this part a whole lot better beyond just the normal difference of Novels letting you see the MC's thought process more (which is really important for this scene in particular). Cause there's a few weird changes like how he unlocked Gold before meeting Kim and seeing her glow helped him figure out what it meant and he didn't approach the blonde girl to form a team.

At one point in the story, he knows he mighg end up in a fight with the strongest organizations and he tells his allies nothing and jusy says hey want to come on a trip with me?

Later on kim hannah wanted to teach him a lesson and did an operation behind his back and he felt buthurt but when his hypocisy was pointed out he realized his flaw but has yet to fix it.

Him beinh self aborbed, telling his allies nothing and being totally inconsiderate is his forte. Some of his allies coukd have even lived if he told them about the eyes but he coukd care less and author covers it up by making those people seem like the bad guys
