I thought she quit her job before moving to Osaka. What's this about using paid leave?
Is she using her paid leave while serving her resignation notice
@versub I was wondering about that too, but I think you're right in that she's using the rest of her paid leave before she's officially out of the company
Work... life... balance? You mean that thing we can't have because modern working hours are still predicated on the antiquated post war assumption of the unpaid labour of a stay at home spouse despite price inflation having got to the point that most households require dual income? That work life balance? HAAAAAAA!!!!
Every time I read this I keep expecting to be a bit depressed because it's relatable, but instead I'm relieved because it's relatable. Somehow the comedy really does balance out the heavier stuff.
Damn the job-seeking must not have gone well guessing from what we got in chapter 1.
@chonkury Agreed. The humor somehow works despite the setting for it and I like it. Even though MC and her husband are not the typical manga couple (lovely dovely and shit) it's refreshing because of how practical and realistic they.
@Nixnaw Yeah, this hits home in so many ways. It's like a palate cleanser in between the sugary/spicy/etc romances, when you need a small dose of reality. I still hope the MC finds herself in a better place later on though.
