I thought she just drew heavily from experience not that the manga was outright autobiographical. I guess that should've been obvious from the fact that the main character is literally named Ura.

It's also nice to know she checked with the husband on what happened, it really easy to think something happened a certain way due to the way you remembered or felt about it.
