sometime in these things to be a great strategist you simply have to be an MC and rushing the enemies works, not rushing the enemies work and encircling the enemies works and you just have to say "I have a plan but it's a longshot" to assure victory.

I agree that it's unlikely that skelly boi and Rubia would stage a rebellion against the empire.
If skelly boi gets strong enough for that, then he should have already been able to undermine the empire long before that.

But teaming up with the blue hair guy isn't that far fetched.
Given the right motivation, they could come to work together.

This chapter makes no sense. First the allied forces are dabbed on outside the imperial capital, then the Senators complain about the defeat BACK at camp, then the very silly ambush (hide your troops in the convenient long grass like in League of Legends, works everytime!) happens DURING the same battle where Senator Karin is in?(So she WASN'T at camp?) So it was never lost, so the Senators wouldn't have to complain?
