Not really a big chocolate fan, so I don't like Nutella personally, but are sure you should be feeding a person Nutella without checking their allergies first? Last thing you need is a surprise hospital visit because of a nut allergy.

@degenerateafro for a more serious answer the occurrence rate for nut allergies in European countries is lower than North America (which is only 0.5%-1% anyway) and has a higher chance of resolving in childhood. Generally speaking it's not a problem. Plus Italians.
