This is one of those moments in fantasy, that makes me go: "For whatever arbitrary historical reason women were treated differently in the past, if it's a world in which "power" does not discriminate based on your physicality, how can women still be treated differently?"
It's as much nonsense as speaking that way towards women in Xianxia, in which literally anyone who trains enough can crush mountains.
Your father sold you out, you have no right cuz you're a woman? What sort of nonsense is that. That is no way to talk to a major military and tactical asset. I wish at least one of those melodrama stories would make use of that perspective.
