The Sound of Shogi

It was quite short and rather quiet but I like it and those are the moments you do miss from time to time. It feels like the grandpa knew more than he was willing to show
I'm inclined to say that school was far from good but really boring and monotonous. I think the MC is a loner or an underachiever of some sort

Aww, that was sad... Especially because I just lost both my grandpas last year. One of them I was especially close with, and we'd always play Sid Meyer's Civilizations together when I visited him. Except he'd always beat me mercilessly, so I stopped playing with him as much. And then he died before I could get another chance to play with him. I still have him friended on Steam, and it's sorta depressing every time I see it.

Anyway, I just felt like writing that here since the story reminded me of him. I hope all of you who still have your grandparents treasure them while you can!

thats hard to read as an adult, when kid you are not able to see or understand those things but when finally you are able, its sad. If you are lucky to read this as a kid or teen, do it while they are alive
