The Spark in Your Eyes - Ch. 30 - Going Back, The Path We Left (4)

Theres no way shes unaffected, shes suffering the pain of loss just as much as everyone else.

poor Therion though.. no child should ever have to go through that. It's sad being eclipsed by a sibling and completely overshadowed by their deaths. his mother doesn't recognize him anymore.

wait why did the war start in the first place. was it just wanting more land from a side and the other didn't give it and caused a war?

@kuckoonut Remember Saving Private Ryan? That shit is way more common then you think, especially back in the day when the norm wasn't 2 kids, but more like 5-9, since its free labor.

@spacekat We do not know yet.

War stories makes me cry all the time but the way it's so complex is what keeps me reading

It seems like this chapter is a turning point and I'm excited to see how it goes

Poor Elkin though, must've been quite the shock to see Kaia react that way towards him...

One thing I love about the art is that older people actually seem older.
So often the parents look the same age as the main characters, but not here. You can tell Therion's mom is older, but she's still drawn in a beautiful way.
