The Spark in Your Eyes

That's a really fine art with human proportions and that's also a serious story with deep characters with flaws, traumas, etc. Gorgeous.

That's not an action story at all, that's about deeply wounded people who try to get through. It's obviously not a REVENGE story, MC isn't a killer even if he made to do it and revenge is described as the useless endless path. If you looking for shojo "I fall in love with the duke" or for an easy clear black-and-white action story then you should skip it instead of leaving stupid comments later. It's closer to a slice of life with a bunch of PTSD characters, honestly.

This manhwa is soooo good. I‘m swayed by the emotion, it‘s really heavy and i found myself tearing up several times. This is not a romance manhwa, this is like Crimson Karma or Emperor and the Female Knight. I enjoyed both of them and certainly enjoy this. Waiting to read more, thank you for scanlating this ;)

If this sticks the landing on various critical plot points in the future it'll be one of the best web comics I've ever had the pleasure of reading.

Ignore any comments by posters who are severely underaged and want a bread-and-butter revenge story. The narrative makes it very clear this isn't a black-and-white moral situation for those involved and you can safely discard the opinion of anyone who believes otherwise as they're missing one of the main themes of the story so far.

This is a slow burn that deals with trauma, hatred, and questions of who bears personal responsibility in war. Both MCs are grappling with an increasingly morally ambiguous situation from their own perspectives, and the FL in particular is being forced to confront her own role in a war that she was, from what we can tell, pretty much forced into from a very young age. It's punching way, way above its weight category in terms of subject matter and is so far doing a decent job of it.

If you'd like your standard shoujo webtoon affair(to be clear, I greatly enjoy these too) where both leads are objectively, unquestionably good people this story won't be for you. If you want to read something where the romance is(so far) a secondary focus compared to character development and self-reflection from the cast then I'd highly recommend this as of chapter 32. Like any story it could derail and turn awful later, but so far so good.

OK this is a painful story, i feel so powerless when reading this.
Great storywriting, the characters is actually live(while slowly dying inside) and they have a realistic persona like a real people and i mean it. Facing with a great crisis of their own, they try what they can to overcome it.
The story tells that everyone has their own problem and reason, the world is not revolving around a person.

Ah it's pretty cruel story, i feel like the old scar in my heart opened up even though i don't really have it in the beginning.
Great life lesson though.
