@Markgraf Not sure if you've read all of the latest Anjou-san but Seto does change/grow-up a fair bit. The way Anjou-san shows the classroom dynamic seemed realistic too. Kinda how I remember, though far more people are in relationships, but that is probably due to us never having the same people class to class when I was in highschool

@Liquidxlax Yep, I've been a fan of Seto growing into his role as Anjou-san's close friend (maybe more eventually?). Same goes for Senpai. My point was that Tougo has all the sensitivity of a cannonball which allows him to fast-forward his relationship with Poemu at light-speeds. He's calling her by her first name, walking her home, telling her she's cute, worrying about her safety, acknowledging her attractiveness (keeps bringing up her skirt length a lot, doesn't he?), & so on & so forth, & it's only the 2nd chapter. This makes this manga stand out from the others.

@Markgraf But that also highly relies on Poemu too. Relationships are 50/50 I kinda see what you mean, but Just like Anjou, Poemu isn't affraid of her feelings, but doesn't seem to like being cute

The fact her being good at math had a purpose in this chapter. The fact that such a simple detail ended up like that. The fact that all of this came in a single chapter, and that it is a bit of a spin on the gyaru-normal student stuff that has become popular.

This is a refreshing dynamic. Usually the girl overpowers the dude in terms of personality and presence in romcoms (or the other way around in shoujo manga), the way these two hit it off feels so natural and is really entertaining to see. I'm glad they gave Tougo more traits to him other than the drab, straightlaced stoic. Dude is just a weirdo who can still show emotions and laugh for once.

I didn't know a classmate is my neighbor until we became classmates. I only knew that fact about halfway into the school year when we were grouped together on a project. Reason is I arrive at school barely on time or mostly late and she arrives 30mins early. On the way home my friends would never go home straight and go to our club activity called Counter Strike 1.3.
