On a positive note I'm a sucker for this genre so I'll give it a shot

hmm are there actual romance between the two? i mean, it's too early to tell really and the description even refer the guy as the 'guardian'. it's more fitting if it's familial love

actually, I'm even betting it's familial love. The girl has no reliable role model to rely on (hence her abandonment issues) at this point and it would just skip a whoooole lot of issues if she just suddenly became fit to love someone romantically

considering how character-centric this manhwa is (delving on FL's thought process and first POV details such as avoiding eye contact, passively accepting bs) so far in chapter 1, i think we would first see some gradual development or some kind of healing of their issues. 'Cuz y'know, what i think the whole plot of this manhwa. Abuse recovery and all those exciting stuff

(so yea man don't think about the goddamn age gap first and love bs cmon. but then again there's the romance tag... _{ugh i hope not ughh})

So apparently people are thinking this is incest but when you actually read this it isn't. Girl never met this guy before and there's no blood relation. Apparently her mother used to hit on him and called him the girl's uncle. Also he's an immortal mage who doesn't age.
