@asdgfh because the author is just doing this as a hobby and isn’t getting payed for it so he does it in his own time.

Now that there is a serialization then the author should find more time to make the manga now that he gets payed making them.

But that wasn't a serialisation, that was just a self-published e-book that a lot of creators do though.
