@Akera93 I agree, but sometimes the stakes can become real down the line. Like when the players get trapped in the game world (SAO, New Gate), or when the NPCs gain sentience (Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki).

Sigh. Way too formulaic. If it's Korean + MMO it's always the same plot.
This is basically the same thing as Destined for Greatness/Overgeared/Rankers Return/EEYEM/Moonlight Sculptor.
It just replaced him being lucky, a blacksmith, poor, a sculptor, or old, with flowers.
