I've seen characters that started out dead, but kept being really evil and troublesome. Even without coming back as undead.

I don't understand why a tiny village in the middle of nowhere would have multiple onsens.
It is weird enough that it has one, given the surrounding countryside does NOT look like the sort of place that would have volcanic springs at all, but apparently this crazy village has enough that recommendations are needed?
Just what the hell do they do with them all? The village doesn't appear to be a tourism hot-spot.
Seems to me like they have onsens IN SPITE of the setting, rather than for any sane or sensible reason. They're just there because the Nipps have a collective boner for hot springs.
But then it is obvious this whole story came about from a Skyrim meme, and bizarrely enough, Skyrim does have an entire area of hot springs (and not a single character even comments on them since non-Nipps don't generally want to make volcanic stink-water sites into public baths). Compare that to the Iceborne add-on for Monster Hunter World and you can actually stop in the middle of the damned hunt to chill out with monkeys in a pool of yellow water (probably full of monster piss).
