Seriously, the MC is crying at being in a fight, even though in the past few chapters, he's shown so much bravado. Wasn't he all hip to the idea of learning all those skills listed in the love god's 'app'? This Bai Yi Chen looks just like Haruka Morishima from Amagami. This story is outdoing itself with silliness.

@DevLogger No, no dude. Getting into a fistfight is completely different from being bludgeoned with a mace. I've been in a fistfight before, at worst I've gotten bruises and some swelling, maybe some cuts. A mace is made to kill people, you don't bring weapons to a fistfight. At the very least he's got a bone crushed, internal bleeding and a few tendons torn. If he's never been hurt that badly before he has every right to shed a tear. That's new pain!

Now I'm not saying the story isn't silly, but your comparison is unfair. lol

@knight_evangel: I'm considering the context here. A skilled martial artist's fists (especially those in this series), or even just a really strong person's fists can kill just as easily as a blunt weapon. But in all honesty, I don't even recall what was happening in this story since I dropped it awhile ago.

I agree with somewhat with knight, tho bricks and maces are kinda similar. Its wierd that he tanked bricks smugly, but then hit with a mace has him feeling the full impact. Maybe its the surprise attack where he didnt activate his skill ?
However him crying is a good show that hes still just a normie at this point, thats what he was trying to tell them.
