That long hair was lookLooked really cute!! And I kinda wish the author didn't erase their scars, it feels way too insensitive. The scars were proof that they survived and that they are strong. While it is a constant reminder of the abuse and trauma they suffered, I think removing that erases their experience. Like denying the horrors they were put through. And even if their physical scars are gone, their mental, emotional, and psychological ones are still there. Maybe I'm just crazy but it feels wrong to just remove it like that. I would have much preferred them conquering their all their scars, and having everyone accept them despite their "imperfections". But at the same time, I'm glad the scars are gone if it means that their pain is alleviated, even if just a little. I guess maybe it was how the author went about it? And maybe they wanted this to signify the twins' new beginnings and leaving all the bad stuff behind? I'm very conflicted

@gum_rummy well, a bow is a form of giving respect to others where you lower yourself and it kinda makes you vulnerable just like how cats boop your head as a sign of trust since if you were a cat, you could easily aim for the neck at that position but its also a sort of surrender to someone stronger than you since you’re the only one getting vulnerable if you’re bowing to someone. I also read its so that you aren’t perceived as a threat instinctively because you’re making yourself look smaller than the other person.

I think it really isnt weird for it to be common for greeting those ranked higher than you since if you didn’t and you stood and greeted them looking eye to eye, its basically declaring you’re equal to them.

I think bowing to the children is more from acknowledging that they’ll grow up and someday take over and basically the future boss. If you aren’t 90 yet, its safe to assume that you’d be alive when they take over with probably only Queen Elizabeth as an exception lolol.

And well, its really easy for humans to compare themselves with others because we like having a frame of reference and a caste system is basically just officially delineating where you think you place. Not that I’m saying it’s right, but it’s easy.

I'll kind of torn. I like this but nothing we've seen really shows their inner maturity.

I'm not talking about their reactions to getting abused. Anyone at any age wouldn't react well to that.

I'm talking about their learning. I would fail the balance book test/graceful walking since I'm a major klutz but learning in general shouldn't be too difficult, right? Like probably not genius level good but I would think they wouldn't lag behind that much.

Hmm. Maybe it's all those isekais that paint everyone as geniuses that's skewing my perspective but I would think since they had some learning in their previous life, they would be able to do fine.

Note: Just to make things clear I'm not talking about Ishina's evaluation of them. I'm basing this on what they themselves have said about lessons being hard.

allegories, right? as long as stuff is conveyed, it's fine.
but real talk. red wolves are coyotes I'm pretty sure. and the matter of green hawks, there are none but birds have a lot of pigment than other types of animals.
