so the maid is trying to simultaneously blackmail im ho with his past (there’s probably prejudice against the nomads) and form an alliance or something with him and make him a spy? i don’t think he actually will since he seems to really like the “princess” he serves. besides that he really let the real princess wear the clothes knowing there might be something wrong with it he probably was thinking something like he’d rather her get hurt than the lady he serves
