I really like this, but I dont want our FL and Tita to end up together. Even if she is taking a hands-off approach, FL is definitely a motherly/sisterly role to Tita--his protector/guardian. For example, Tita has to ask permission from her, she worries about imparting good values and teaching lessons to him like a parent would. This is cute rn, but might drop if it takes a romantic turn

why all this hate? The queen never acts inappropriately to tita ever. She's just being a mentor to him? Kids have crushes on babysitters and teachers all the time, it's a thing that happens when you respect and admire someone but also recognize that they're pretty hot. It's not the ideal situation sure but it's a common thing that happens, or is it that it's only ok if it's a teen girl simping over her hot daddy professor? LMAO idk why yall are so mad that tita has a crush on her and that later that crush may develop into something more serious he's never thought of her as family he's always been pretty conscious of the fact she ISN'T and she just treats him like a student and really doesn't act like a big sister or aunt. The only parental relationships I see is between the queen-edmund and edmund-tita. Edmund seems like an uncle and confidant for the queen and is very obviously tita's grandpa/fatherly figure

Plus it doesn't look like it'll be easy for tita to make the queen see him like an actual man when he does grow up, he's a got a big uphill battle for that haha, I for one, look forward to it

Their relationship developing into something "more" isn't as off-putting to me because she never said she sees him as her son and he never saw her as a mother; furthermore, he never calls her mother or something. Other series have relationships betweem two people that clearly at one point saw each other as femily and call each other as such.

@genie610 I completely agree. She maybe sometimes treat him delicately but this is NOT because she sees him as her child but because she knows what could happen to him (and thus her) later in the story if he turns evil. She causious about what she does and says to him because the OG queen basically neglected him and he turned into a tyrant. The double standard is real tho, most people have no problem with younger girl/older male teacher stories especially when its similar build up like this one. Respect turning towards love or similar feelings over time

@sweet-potato i feel the same. She never said she would mother him, shes raising him to not be a villain later. If she feels anything now its definitely not the love of a mother
