I am trying to be immersed in the story, but THEY USED MILK JUG AS A TEA POT. Ok... so these are the reasons you can't do that NO MATTER HOW PRETTY THEY ARE. Jug had no top (atleast this one doesn't) this means that the heat escapes from the tea much faster. The tea gets colder quickly and you are drinking room temperature mud water in cold weather. Tea is supposed to warm you up not be room temperature. And if it is, it usually has lots of sugar and is bad for teeth and you. Honestly I don't judge if you drink room temperature mud with tons of sugar, but do that in summer.
