I read the novel and it became one of my fav novels
hopefully they don't change too much but other than that i rlly recommend this, especially on the later parts of the story

tags, cover, description is perfect setup for bad harem isekai that starts off normal and switched to harem out of desperation because storywriters are bad
@melbisbelbis not really. I think we should remove the harem tag. At the point where the novel is translated, only 2 girls. And both of them were encountered very early in the story (The second is encountered early but join later). I doubt (and hope) the number won't increase because it will go against the whole idea behind the story. (IMO: up to 2 girls: not a harem; 3 girls not a harem if they are the only ones flirting with the MC and the characters is well established; 3 girls but often others flirting or lackluster in personalities: Harem; 4 or more: Harem)
About everyone saying it's generic: it's not that much. First the MC is OP but not that much, he will often encounter strong threat that could have killed him if not careful. He is sort of a glass cannon. He will get a powerful weapon but with limited shots and while his stealth is OP, there is a lot of characters that can sense his presence by instincts. At the same time, stat points are hard to get and he isn't the only one who get them. In fact, everybody get skills points but only him can choose where to put them. The rest of the people have auto-assign. Hence, he is a minmax character: for example: nearly everybody have points in vitality but he never put a single one in it and focus on stealth. (Hence, why he is a rule breaker)
There will be an other character truly OP (another otherworlder) but while she will be friend with the MC, it stops here, she doesn't even join the group. (And the reason for being OP is explained (not a cheat))
While the novel isn't a masterpiece, it's still very good. So yeah, I recommend reading it. Though, it's a shame the art isn't very good.

I've read a lot of the novel, pretty good series honestly.
To address some comments, yes the MC and the girl on the cover do the dirty dead. He's 15 and she's 14, high school aged kids banging isn't uncommon. I don't really get the drama about it.
Is this series a harem? I guess it is. 250+ chapters in he has a girlfriend (cover girl) and they have a single female companion, and one other non-human companion. Him and the other girl have a few romantic encounters so i suppose it's going to go harem. Not really to me satisfaction. Even if there is... I really wouldn't call 2 girls, or even 3 a harem. I'd say that's more of a polygamy while having 5+ wives with common no development a sure shooter for harem.

@Titanfan548 the time-sensitive bit you're seeing is literally once and never again, lasts until, like, chapter 3 of the LN. I bet it'll finish by the end of chapter 2 of the manga, if not the end of chapter 1.
This is not at all a time limitation based story. Sure, every now and then you might have a "save someone before their captor gets away" "get out of a collapsing dungeon before you're trapped" "find the killer before they kill again" sort of thing, but that's it. Only standard races against the clock, and it's pretty rare to have those either. More common is "I have to sneak faster, before they discover the first guy I took out" but even then, he generally goes true stealth over heavy stealth.

gets worse around chapter 100 and turns to shit around
in the novel why? because he thinks he is much smarter than he is, letting people go for a plan that only serves to satisfy his ego at the expense of the security of the person he claims to protect.
as the author you can ooc just about everyone but not the main cast or the main villain or it totally ruins the immersion

sarah shouldnt have been able to track them undetected instinct 5 vs obfuscation 4 and group stealth 4
is about the same as instinct 6 vs stealth 5 and those guys could only "see" the mc close range and feeling the general presence isnt useful in tracking
and at the same time the author is telling us that a mc so notorius insecure and paranoid that it bordered on neurosis didnt cast mana detection once because he was afraid of a little headache
and disregards fully the effect of his instinct 1 vs her stealth 1 if she is close enough to directly follow them he should feel her general presence with instinct
or sarah wouldnt have even be able to feel his presence at the earth dragon extermination
and later on even a guy with instinct 4 detects the mc with his stealth 5 and stealth job
and next violates the charackter he created by making him react ooc... a situation that should have triggered a fuge state to facilitate a silencing of all wittnesses triggered nothing the mc didnt even have the thought to silence sarah.

second they were threatened
third he knows that that party took it upon them willingly to deliver livia to the capital to keep their 100% record
but oh no lets follow the thief to their den of the group insead of silencing her and then the rest of the group
each of them alone were reasons that pushed the mc already to the border of condoning murder and now all three of them happen and once and he is like "meh ok i did nothing wrong anyway"....
to be clear im not whining that he doesnt go on a murderous rampage iam offended that the mc didnt consider the option very closely
