Mad respect to this character, he accomplished so much with maybe the biggest handicap he could have. And instead of being like 'well this is the best I could do' he even goes so far to say that if he had time he'd still accomplish more, but is so vexed by knowing that he just doesn't have that time anymore, unlike those younger and more 'talented' than him. I feel like this skill might be the bone the 'spirits' are throwing him, or perhaps, there's a neutral spirit whom favors him.
