Fraser got his teachers mixed up! Should be, "This is your teacher, a high orc who wields a large lump of iron and assures me he won't squash you by accident even though you don't reach the height of his knees. The most important thing to remember in this lesson is NOT to get hit and if see the lump of iron coming your way, dodge! Good luck, just let me put on a raincoat for the upcoming rain of blood."
Seems like the MC got a fresh start, but why didn't he ask for average compatibility? Since Merlin is an elf?/demon? she's probably still alive and very powerful so looking forward to when she recognizes MC as her reincarnated foster father and finding out how she feels about him, like just a father figure or wanting more for example. Unfortunately probably won't happen for a few dozen chapters at least as MC gaining and building up knowledge and skills currently while she's likely reclusive either in capital or some distant place and won't meet him unless sees him take care of a situation before she could or sees and recognizes his personal spell and tracks him down.
Btw in case anyone didn't understand the comment about not having compatibility not meaning a lack of magic power it's simple. Compatibility is two or more things being able to work together easily without problems or conflict while Magic Power, or MP for gamers, is essentially measuring the quality and quantity of 'fuel' available for casting spells. So MC's lack of compatibility doesn't mean he has no fuel to power spells with or can't cast spells, just that he doesn't have talent or ability to make things easier, hence he had to study and work much harder and longer to learn and cast spells through sheer effort to reach a level higher than the average person. As for the three emperors because they had high compatibility for elements specialized in plus a lot of effort of their own were able to achieve heights MC could only dream of. Or more simply, MC reached heights due to effort alone with zero talent while emperors reached higher due to extreme talent honed and built upon with effort.

Oh man,i thought that was merlin, goddamnit,oh well this is getting good
