@starburst98 I am, too. Honestly, I do like these stories, even the more generic ones. So, I've found it's pretty easy to avoid the basic tropes (or use them in fun ways) after I've read so many of them. Even just the process of figuring out the characters and story is quite fun.
Problem is that I suck at writing and only know these stories as manga, so I would only know how to make them in comic form... Meaning I have to learn how to draw first, but I'll know what to draw when I do.
