Why are there so many manga released this way now? Where each chapter is cut up into like three or four five-page increments? Are the publishers doing this? I would rather wait longer for full chapters than this stilted shit. It actively kills my enthusiasm. I read Berserk, I know how to be patient.

Obviously you want to be the last person to join in. The first 50 have to last through everyone. The last 50 just have to beat 45 people. Jumping in first is just a great way to waste energy.
Of course this doesn't apply to the main characters, but goddamn the rest of those people are dumb. Well I guess that's part of the "test". If you are dumb enough to be the first one to jump in and you aren't strong enoguh to last then that's your own fault.
