And, since it seems that other people think that his obsession is justified, he met her once when they were like 5 and after finding out who he was she fainted him and avoided him. The engagement shouldn’t exist it should have been broken years ago, it’s just him clinging onto someone from a blurry childhood memory desperately who wants nothing to do with him, whom he hasn’t even seen for over a decade. How can he be in love when that was their only interaction. Gil, on the other hand has been with her for years, knows her true character, and who she is better than anyone else, he doesn’t act all forceful and pushy with her even if he keeps Oscar away, which is what she wants. I really don’t understand why this is even an option people see. Cecilia with Gil honestly looks to be much healthier than with that obsessive prince. And again, I’m probably completely biased because I think I’m in love with Gil, and Gil and Cece’s dynamic.
