I’m fairly certain it’s related to nobility. In similar mangas having it long is necessary and short hair for nobility is unheard of and should she have short hair it would be frowned upon and be bad for her reputation, especially for her whose engaged to the crown prince.

@Ochrolv Yeah, that's a valid point! We can't do anything even if Endless Journey do continue to work on it and release the split chapters weekly. But we still want to continue this project because all of us really like it and want to read it ourselves (with proper translation and quality). Hence we won't be stopping even if it means our time is wasted a bit, since we are primarily doing it for ourselves^^
