Holy shit I kind of love that, taking damage per step / action. If that were used in a setting like Trash of the Count's Family / When the Villainess loves, it'd be extra interesting, since the main characters in those stories have a big cast of characters that gravitate around them after being won over by their actions' / personality, and are known to have scenes where they get hurt either protecting others or just by existing. (Though in the Vaillainess ones case, she doesn't feel any pain)
