Again, I didn't read the amnesia subplot but with the number of people giving out this particular spoiler and extending the spirit king favor spoiler, its most likely true.
@SoloSera, I understand. I despise the dreaded amnesia trope of Chinese and Korean manhua the former especially) but if it does happen, I'll just take a break, give the series a 5 chapter gap then check for improvements. At least our blood sugars would be salvaged
