I can't expect much from a person that puts a racial slur in their name and is so openly racist

but no, its because the time period was patriotically and misogynistic, since woman didn't have rights to land,titles or person hood unless in the most dire of circumstance. However that didn't mean it was impossible as trade and alliance still happened with out marriage.
People not letting another group of human being's do something because of their race/sex/ religion etc is prejudicial; and malicious.

In addition to the fact that, it up to the writer to determine how sexist they want to make their shoujo stories. Since this is historical fantasy,not historical no-fiction .

Ah of course marriage well I guess they gotta find a way to start the romance I'm here for the romance so I'm not complaining but it's so funny how so many of these stories choose marriage to be the go-to plan to make the main leads fall in love. Again I'm not complaining coz as a muslim I'm happy that they keeping it halal

@Wow_ie because this is a shoujo manhwa. Marriage is the only way to scale. why? because although it is set in a fantasy world, the author is using the man supremacy in society. This means that women supremacy can only be obtained thru the man. Even if she is smart. She can only be in the shadows and give the glorification to the husband.

If this were a shounen then it would be about a MC who is trying to scale in the hierarchy thru his hard work and making brothers and masters on his way to the top. Marriage would be a way to introduce romance with one girl and then introduce the rest of the girls that will become his wives. You rarely see a male MC with just a FL.
