- she has never shown an interest in becoming empress. so its not like it was denied from her.
- calling the other dude simple and stupid is dumb, we just met him, he hasnt done anything stupid at this point, hes just wary coz he knows he lacks political knowledge and knows that any talk about becoming emperor can be seen as treason, or at least put anyone in danger.

I don't think that she is his child. In the beginning they said that she looked like her dad. And only her brother has royal blood.
But it is still disgusting as he said that she would look prettier if she looked like her mother in a suggestive way

Obviously, she wouldn't even dream of that. It isn't as if she would have an ounce of opportunity to become an emperor herself. The ML might even be smart or reasonable. However, as we saw from the previous timeline and his impulsive behaviour in this one, he is definitely not smarter than the FL is.

It isn't that I am showing displeasure with the author or the storyline. It is just saddening that women had to stand "behind a men's success" and could not even dream of taking the spotlight.

Lawrence is the emperor's child because they have the same blue eyes. Besides, Tia probably was born just before her father's death so judging by her looks they deducted that she's the marquis's bio daughter. Also that countess woman is really dumb.

From the context provided, I can side with both the FL and the emperor's daughter. The mother is a horrible manipulator and the king prioritizing the mistress. Please team up and remove the terrible mother that wants to kill the emperor with misguided love (probably terrible to FL since a reminder of the mother's fling).
