I am interested in that her father is defending her. And yes, screw being under the control of your husband. A woman's worth should be tied to herself, not some man, be it her father, brother, lover, or husband. You go, Ayla. I'm wondering if her strong independent stance that is NOT the accepted thinking for women made Vincent come out from nowhere to defend her from the old geezers.
 
I never though I would like an older character but dang her dad rocks! Itโ€™s like how to say I love my daughter without saying it ๐Ÿ˜‚
