The Villainess Turns the Hourglass - Vol. 1 Ch. 21

I always hated that "freckles are ugly and should be hidden!" shit, like they're so cute wtf are yall saying

It's very likely that freckles is High society are spurned, because freckles show that you have been outside in the sun for a long, most likely working.
Unlike Aristocrats who don't have to work, and see it as an insult or means of mockery if they do have evidence of working outside
(No money left)

Reminds me of Anne of Green Gables and how much she hated her own freckles. While I myself see nothing wrong with freckles, I can understand why having them might make the maid feel self-conscious. I think the problem is with either the standard of beauty or the perceived standard of beauty, not with the freckles.

I love how Aria can think such vicious thoughts while keeping such a sweet smile on her face. Ruin them ALL, Aria!

But freckles are really nice! :( It might be that I've only ever seen freckles on children, but freckles feel youthful to me. They're cute!

"Alright, I'll enjoy Mielle's birthday party as much as possible by embarrassing her using the hourglass."
Ah, so this is when it'll not work then?

Wow that dress is amazing on her.
I think freckles are cute thou. But I understand clear complexion is preferred.

What's up with people complaining about the freckle, isn't the reason is because it isn't seen as a beauty factor like in today's society?
