It's been over 10 chapters and nothings happened yet..

All this learning magic and a couple of thugs doesn't count as anything.. Where's the whole villainess plot? So far it's just about some girl playing with guns..

@ZayB It'll probably get there eventually, but for now it's a slice-of-life storyline. They are still establishing everything, which most stories need to do, and almost all the villainess stories spend several chapters in the childhood years.
It's not that "nothing's happened," it's just the villainess plot hasn't started yet.
Also, it's worth noting that the chapter lengths are all over the place, ranging from as high as 25 pages to as low as 7. If recounted, the number of pages might be equivalent to just 6 or 7 chapters that are 20 pages each.
