The Villainess Will Crush Her Destruction End Through Modern Firepower - Vol. 3 Ch. 24 - New Student Orientation (First part)

@Siikalahna
Kinda the guy's fault in this since that requires them taking a hint.

It's similar to the prince's "be casual" order.
He's a superior so nobody can refuse, but doing it is still something that can and probably will get them in trouble.
If they refuse they get in trouble.
He doesn't give a damn about a somewhat tactful response about feeling uncomfortable doing so. Even doing that could be refusing a superior's command.
So now everyone is forced to go along with something they don't want to (and shouldn't) do.
Ergo the prince is basically bullying everyone into going with his "normal student" fantasy and there's no way to stop it without him realizing it on his own since he refuses dissent that they aren't allowed to make in the first place.

Astrid has the same catch 22 with the boys since while she doesn't want to be anywhere NEAR them she can't get away from them without them realizing they need to back off on their own. If she tried getting away from them she'd get scolded by her parents and forced to spend even more time with them.

To anyone out there saying she should have blasted em on

Social hierarchy exist you know? She can't really make enemies of some people with really high influential power when she's still small

The lack of common sense is like trying to anger some big Yakuza / Mafia organization as a peasant's child that just somehow or another using future tech to their advantage

@MinerOfSouls ; RPG? Nah dude, this:

@Cloy552
If they were not royalty she would, she is trying to avoid a death sentence so getting on their bad side knowing how they could turn to be would be pretty bad,
specially on the prince. That is why even her father told her to at the very least "try" to get along with them.

@Phyrexian_Dude
She also is trying to protect her family from being stripped of their goods and rights.

That is why even her father told her to at the very least "try" to get along with them.
No, IIRC from the novel his father is a good father but still is a noble and therefore is greedy so WANTS his daugther to marry the royal family. He thinks Astrid is innocent because she still is small but she isn't falling for it.

Yes, that's what the Prussian Empire needs: a supporter named Adolf.

If he shows you his paintings, tell him they're good.

@RamenRider : Yup, these sort of 'implied orders' among nobles with social status involved can get....annoying.

Which is why when the concept is explored in Bookworm, Myne constantly complained about it.
Even better is that we get to hear her complain from both perspective.

As a commoner/someone in lower position who needs to heed even 'suggestions' as order.

As a noble whose every words are taken as 'order'/'criticism' even when she just want to strike a casual conversation.
like when watching 2 chefs cooking she complimented them saying they're quite excellent, but the chefs just went stiffed not sure what she's 'really saying'

Relationship between royalty and dukes is dependant of the epoch and how strong said monarchy are, it can be from dukes hold enough power to potential overthrow the current king (no wonder, most cases they are family) and doing such mess as the war of roses (ASoFaI/GoT and FFTA are unrealistic as how tonned down are their politic sides) to late strage france kingdom, where the king saying are THE law; this settings however are based heavily in the kaiserreich (dunno which one) so I suggest wondering how much a ducal house can do in basically magical prussia

Edit: Prussian Empire

Kids who can't read the mood, huh? Oh well. I guess they're just kids at this point, even if they're annoying.

Still rude though.

Goddamn it, I seriously hope this won't turn into a reverse harem story or with the MC romancing with the prince like all other otome game reincarnation stories. I've been here to see Astrid fight her fate violently with weapons, so I'd be seriously disappointed if it turns out to also be the generic isekai romance story.

Astrid, the spirit animal of Anarchy.
How far is the raw manga though? The chapters are so short, is this weekly or bi-weekly?
