The Villainous Daughter’s Butler - I Raised Her to Be Very Cute - Vol. 1 Ch. 4 - Uniform Measurements

"Um, my lady. Your hand is..." the wrong way around. It's a left hand on a right arm. Or she's missing a thumb (that she miraculously regained on the next page).

Oh fuck off Cyril. Saying it's hypocrisy to help the ones suffering in front of you is bullshit. It's not a bad thing to help those you can even if you can't help everyone.

i can never understand that BS thinking of: ''u shouldnt help one person if u cant help everyone else'' BITCH im just a human, i can only help those within my power, i aint saying i'll become fucking superman and protect the whole world, fuck off

specially coz in manga the guy doing the helping most of the time is OP as fuck thks to cheat skills

"My partner is a very kind and wonderful person". If this isn't a translation issue, it's no wonder our Yandere lady got so curt with her, what with implying that they're still partners.

@Cloy552 It's more so that the way you help as important, if not more, as the act of helping itself. You know, the whole "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime". It also doesn't help anyone if you ruin yourself while recklessly helping others. Nobody likes a living martyr, after all.

Sigh... those child is force/pushed someone to help them, while I understand this is cruel but what MC said is true. They make themselves look pitiful to escape their lives with using another person lives as shield, most type people I hate.

Her capacity/authority is in country level, so I can understand what Cyril mean.

@cloy552 so then what? others learn about it, go in front of you and ask for help and again "i should help those who are in front of me" and then the cycle repeats itself, people learn about it and take advantage of your kindness, its not as simple as "help those that are in front of you" im not saying i 100% agree with cyril but its not as simple as you make it sound.

also can someone tell me what ch this is in the novel?

@Green83F that would be close to 5th chapter of the WN, you can find the link in the series' page.

The name of the chapter is "School Faction Riot Part One 2"

To people who don't get it, you think it's easy simply because you're just a spectator looking from a safe distance and without having to think and be responsible about the trouble it entails.

Yup, helping other people is fine and all if you have the capabilities to do so but if it pose some risk and problems to your side then it isn't really a bad choice not to do so, afterall your just a human being too, you're neither a god nor a guardian of the human race to shoulder that responsibility.

Of course if the other side is your family then not helping them is a shitty thing to do.

He's really saying F*,ck them kids to the person who is supposed to become the future Queen and rule over these lands. Wouldn't now be a good time to learn how to help people even just a little bit since she's definitely in a position to do so.

I also agree with Cyril, if she helps even one person then more will come seeking her help or to use her.
It will be never-ending cycle.
But, as Arkaunn said, if she uses her powers to create some sort of organisation or generally speaking "conditions" where such children can escape from the fate of dark guild slave then she could go for it.
Do not help people with direct aid sort of thing, help them get out of it themselves.
If the parents are too poor to rise children, then maybe there is a way to create some low-paying undemanding job for masses, like building roads or some other municipal works.

@Cloy552

I won't go on analysis of this ethical dilemma. But I'm pretty sure that "hypocrisy" he mentioned isn't about helping the two right there, but about declining the future refugees. When you help some and deny others, there will some critics scream hypocrite. On the other hand, nobody will say hypocrisy in front of an purely evil act, if such thing ever exists.

Not that we can, nor should, make any generalisation of these extremely delicate matters.

There is also the significant issue of having now offended the Dark Guilds by stealing their "products". Of course they could pay for them after the fact, but what they are doing is effectively forcing a deal by using their noble status.
