The Villainous Violet - Ch. 12 - Cancel the Engagement

Well u only wanter her when u can see that she doesn't need u 😂 Gerald, wrong move my guy

yall is it just me or did gerald's eyes changes? like for the better? they're definitely more bearable to look at now HAHA
and omggg yaay aaron!!!

I wonder if the original Violet really cheated or not ? It seems highly unlikely but you never know

Don't worry about the sfx, the bubbles are the point! 😁
Thank you very much for your work <3

I wonder what Violet will reply? She likes Aaron, but does she like him enough to get engaged in only ch12?
About Violet's father: he's like... "I respect your decision but please decide what I want you to decide". I hope if Violet says yes to Aaron and the father hears this, he'll let go of chibieyes duke already!

Is Gerald for reals? I feel like he could cheat on her if they get married, just out of pettiness because she broke his heart. Probably a safer bet to marry the other dude

I won't believe she cheated on him until they show proof, also if she did cheat why didn't he forgive her when she came back, instead he keeps Shannon around just to upset Violet and eventually marries her but when Violet decides to move on he wants her back, why?

@starlighter Bear in mind the world setting is that of aristocracy, where people tend to marry for favourable social standing/economic security over love and affection. To him, his daughter immediately rejecting such an eligible high-social-class and wealthy man like Gerald over feelings is a reckless, rash action. It may seem off to 21st century sensibilities, but it was a very real thing in the 18th-19th centuries. Jane Austen even wrote books about it.

Just cos she doesn't love Aaron yet, doesn't mean that she 'belongs' to him. People like that piss me off so much. Always wanting things that they can't have but when they do have it, they don't care. 🙄
I'm pretty the blue guy's the male lead but if not.... I swear to god 😤

the Duke actually doesn't seem as unreasonable. I think most people try to make their exes or crushes jealous, regardless of whether that's right or wrong. in the original, since violet acted so shitty to shannon, that was probably a huge turnoff and only got worse from there. now that it's dahye, she's less villainous, and the Duke is still in love. it's true that he's too late tho.

tldr: F.
