I am a tad confused.
It was stated that she did not create this world and was only a prophet, so why would it matter how detailed it was?

Was it stated that her imagination is basically a type of foresight in the novel when she was writing.

Also, was her caring in relation to being an author's guilt or as a person knowing a tragedy?

The novel she wrote is based on the current world she lives in. If she writes the novel more detailed, it doesn't matter how much she writes as it will be accurate--she wasn't aware of that though. If she wrote it in greater detail then she would have more information at hand that she could use.
